Training courses
Within its educational activity, the Centre offers the following learning paths (each path consists of a series of training courses):
- IT projects and programmes management in public sector units (from the phase of gathering requirements to the phase of receiving ordered products),
- IT development planning in public sector units,
- IT services management in public sector units,
- IT governance in public sector units.
The first learning path is intended for people who are or will be responsible for managing IT projects and programmes (or tasks in which the IT component plays an important role) in public sector units. In this learning path we particularly focus on the following aspects: project roles and responsibilities in relation to a hierarchical structure of a public unit, IT systems requirements specification, important conditions of IT systems delivery, quality assurance and receipt of products, projects and programmes risk management.
The second learning paths is intended for people who are in charge of IT departments in public sector units. In this learning path we particularly focus on the following aspects: IT strategy development, IT strategy deployment, IT/Enterprise Architecture development planning in public sector units.
The third learning path is intended for people who are responsible for maintaining deployed IT systems and delivering IT services using them in public sector units.
The fourth learning path is intended for people who are responsible for governing IT departments. Often these are senior managers in public sector units. In this learning path we particularly focus on the aspect of managing control of IT works.
The above learning paths are designed to provide knowledge and skills necessary for fulfilling specific IT functions in public sector units.
The Centre runs the following two types of classes:
- open training sessions – designed according to other standard programmes,
- closed training sessions – tailor-made for a customer.
On request of public sector units the Centre also runs dedicated training courses in which we take into account special needs of a customer.
