Organizational-legal status
The Centre for Studies on Digital Government is a non-profit NGO acting as a foundation, established on the basis of Act of 6th April 1984 on foundations. The Centre has been registered under the KRS identification number 000419526, and is located in Lodz.

Goals of the Centre
The Centre has assumed the following goals:
- initiating and taking part in undertakings related with architecting Digital Government, in particular supporting public organizations in Digital Transformation,
- communicating common knowledge on benefits resulting from Digital Government,
- taking actions leading to prevent some social groups from digital exclusion due to their life or economic conditions,
- running R&D projects and scientific-technical and educational activities in the domain of ICT and management, in particular in the matter of architecting Digital Government and Digital Transformation,
- taking health protection and health promotion actions through the use of cutting-edge IT solutions (in particular e-health solutions),
- taking actions leading to economic development (in particular freeing citizens and entrepreneurs from excessive administrative burden through the use of cutting-edge IT solutions and public-information reuse).
How we work in the Centre:
Our work is organized as follows:
- starting discussions and expressing opinions in public on matters that are important in the light of Digital Government and Digital Transformation,
- preparing and releasing papers related with the concept of Digital Government and Digital Transformation,
- building and communicating a knowledge base for Digital Government,
- running research, education and promotion activities in the domain of Digital Government and Digital Transformation,
- giving opinions to drafts of central and local governments’ documents (national and worked out by the EU), legal acts and other materials important for the concept of Digital Government and Digital Transformation,
- organizing congresses, conferences, seminars, training courses, workshops and lectures,
- filing requests and opinions to appropriate authorities, offices and courts in matters that are important in the context of Digital Government and Digital Transformation,
- developing and implementing projects and programmes related with the concept of Digital Government and Digital Transformation, including R&D and application.
